I wish there were even more choices though because a girl can never have enough clothes, bag, shoes, and accessories right?

Jennifer Lopez showed off her casual but still very fabulous style when she promoted Thavasa’s new handbag line in Tokyo, Japan recently.

I love what she has on because it’s very wearable even for those of us who are not the Hollywood types. I especially love her top because it will compliment any body type — not so sure about the heels though ‘coz I don’t think I can walk more than 10 steps without tripping.

For those of you who do not go all sentimental when it rains, I have found the perfect way to keep you dry and make a statement at the same time. Lo and behold the Fuck The Rain Umbrella.

Designed by Russian artist, Artemy Lebedev, this umbrella may not stop the rain from falling but at least it makes the user’s opinion known. I will even give you a glimpse of what the umbrella looks like from the rain’s point of view:

Yep you heard that right, HIGH HEELS for babes – meaning newborn babies. These fully functional “high-heeled” shoes are from a company aptly named Heelarious.

They describe their shoes as “extremely funny, completely soft, fully functional high heel crib shoes for babies.” Despite being “fully functional” the shoes are “not intended for walking (heel will collapse with weight). Not intended to harm children in any way.”

Personally, I think these shoes are cute as a button and “heelarious” at that. BUT (and that’s a big one), I also think that it is not appropriate to dress newborns like adults. When you see a baby girl wearing one of these, it will be like looking at the infant version of Sarah Jessica Parker *ugh*.

I mean, can’t we be content with the cute little squeaky shoes like the pair worn by the delightful baby in the picture above? These babies still have a LOT of growing up to do and they’ll have their “I-will-wear-only-high-heels-even-though-my-feet-are-killing-me” phase in time. Just please let babies BE babies.

You can buy these baby stilettos for Halloween though if you want to dress your baby as a fashionista, but spare your child from wearing these all day, everyday.
