We are a generation who adores portable media players. Most of us have earphones perpetually plugged in our ears – existing in our own world, listening to the soundtrack of our lives.

This is exactly the reason why “accessories for accessories” would sell like hotcake these days. Check out the latest trend F & F pals! Earphone charms – this is how you prettify your itsy bitsy earphones:

Emotibles – Put some pizzaz on your boring, white, oh-so-common iPod earbuds with these cute little emoticons turned rubber charms. It’s like Punkymoods for your earphones! How cool is that? Now, you can flaunt what you’re feeling wherever you go. Emotibles will not only fit iPod earphones, but many other brands out in the market as well. Amazing! :)

Emotibles

Budclicks – However, if your not the emo type and you would like to keep your feelings to yourself, then you can go for Budclicks. Just like Emotibles, Budclicks are snap on rubber charms that can personalize your über common earphones but this time, you have a wider selection. Their designs range from rhinestone studded flip-flops to skulls.

All of them are just *fab* so if your looking for something to show off your personality in a different and most definitely unique way, these “accessories for accessories” will surely do the trick for you. ;)

Gasp.

My earphones are always in the danger of getting ripped apart because I usually snatch them accidentally off of my ears. So I guess that’s enough reason for me not to buy this $6,400 diamond encrusted earphones (of course aside from not being able to afford it! haha!). The 204 handcrafted micropave diamonds are set into an 18-karat white and rose gold backing, and only 1000 pieces were produced to ensure the “exclusivity” of this bling.

Gulp.

However, if you think 204 pieces of diamonds is just too damn much, then why don’t you go for this $ 19,343 iPod shuffle? It may not be an mp4 player like the latest generations of iPods, but nothing can compare to a gadget made out of 18k solid gold (*ahem* not gold-plated). Does being solid gold improve the performance of this li’l music player? Uhmmm..i don’t think so. I also find it weird because the switches/controls are still made of plastic. Blah.

Faint.

Still haven’t had enough? Then I’m bringing out the big momma of all iPods (shuffle. LOL) – the $40,000 iDiamond. Yes the price alone can make you faint. It’s actually made of solid 18-karat white and pink gold handset with 430 diamonds. This was not made for commercial sale though, but for a good cause. This one and only piece was donated to a charity auction in London last 13-March-2008. Wow, bling for a cause. :)
